Judge Denies Karmelo Anthony’s Appeal For a New Trial [VIDEO]

Karmelo Anthony’s legal team won its bid to have State District Judge John Roach Jr. removed from his murder appeal. As Karmelo Anthony’s fight for a new trial moves ahead with his new legal dream team, disturbing details about Austin Metcalf’s past are coming to light, a light that Karmelo Anthony’s previous lawyers didn’t shine for the jury that found him guilty.  Unfortunately for team Karmelo Anthony a judge has handed them an ‘L’ by denying Karmelo Anthony’s appeal for a new trial.

Judge Michael Chitty rendered his decision Saturday after testimony stretched into Friday evening. The decision could have a major impact on how people perceive the justice system in Texas

Karmelo Anthony, at 19 years old was sentenced to 35 years in prison following being found guilty of murder in the stabbing death of Austin Metcalf, 17, at a stadium in the Dallas suburb of Frisco.
