Four Have Been Arrested After A Female CPD Officer Areanah Preston At Her Home [VIDEO]

This story is just sad on all levels, all the way around.

On May 6th, off-duty CPD officer Areanah Preston was shot to death in the 8100 block of South Blackstone Avenue, while returning home from work.  In what was believed to be an attempted robbery attempt that led to a shoot out between officer Preston and her alleged assailants.   Sadly the 24 year old Areanah Preston lost her life in which she had so many higher aspirations other then just being a police officer.

Now it is being reported that four have been arrested in her alleged murder and unfortunately they are just babies themselves.

Four suspects who have been charged in the shooting death of Chicago Police Officer Areanah Preston were ordered held without bail on murder and other charges in connection with a crime spree that also involved five other alleged robberies in a two-hour span that day.  They have been identified as Trevell Breeland, 19; Joseph Brooks, 19; Jakwon Buchanan, 18; and a 16-year-old juvenile whose name was not released all face charges that include murder and robbery in Preston’s death.
