Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson’s 25th Reunion Was Fire [VIDEO]

In 1998 Busta Rhymes dropped ‘What’s It Gonna Be’ featuring the Queen of Rhythm Nation, Janet Jackson, from his album Grammy nominated album Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front .  Neither artist was head for extinction in 1998 and 25 years later Busta and Janet proved why.

♫ Gonna make gonna make gonna make your body wet, Gonna make gonna make your body scream again, Gonna make gonna make you think of naughty things, Like me on you (or me on you) and you on me (yeah, what it’s gon’ be?), What’s it gonna be ♫

Janet Jackson surprised attendees at her “Together Again” tour stop at Madison Square Garden with a special guest. Hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes joined the pop star for a rare performance of their song “What’s It Gonna Be”, and the reunion was absolute fire.

After the performance Busta Rymes showered Janet Jackson with flowers and a three-tier cake with images of him and Janet Jackson together to celebrate her upcoming 57th birthday.

“We’re gonna give you your flowers. We’re gonna give you a botanical garden while you can smell them!”…“If this ain’t one of the most beautiful, most gorgeous, one of the most incredible souls as a mother ever walked in the face of the earth, I don’t know who is!”

According to Guinness World Records, the music video for “What’s It Gonna Be” by Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson, directed by Hype Williams, cost $2.4 million to produce.
