Tony! Toni! Toné! Addresses Dwayne Wiggins Health Complications In The Midst Rumors

Rumors had been circulating on social media that Tony! Toni! Toné! founding member Dwayne Wiggins was allegedly in hospice care.  Tony! Toni! Toné! has taken to social media to give fans an update as to what is going on with Dwayne Wiggins health and to ask that folks respect the family’s privacy during this time.

D’Wayne Wiggins is a Grammy award-winning musician and producer who mentored Beyoncé, and founding member of the R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné!. 

According to a post on Tony! Toni! Toné! Instagram page, Dwayne Higgins is experiencing undisclosed medical conditions, but he is working on it one day at a time.

“We wanted to share that D’Wayne Wiggins is experiencing medical complications. He is working through it one day at a time,”.. “We know how beloved he is by so many, and we are grateful for your prayers and concern. We also request that you respect the family’s privacy during this time. Much love, The Wiggins Family.”

The legendary R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné!, was formed by brothers Raphael (Saadiq) and D’Wayne Wiggins along with their cousin Timothy Christian Riley in 1986 redefining the genre in the late ‘80s and ‘90s, infusing their music with the warmth of classic soul and the rhythm of funk.  Tony! Toni! Toné! are known for smash hits such as “Feels Good,” “It Never Rains (In Southern California)” and “Anniversary”
