Is She Wrong or Nah? NYPD SVU Detective Goes Viral As Video Vixen Stripper In Music Video

NYPD SVU Detective Job In Jeopardy Following Her Video Vixen Stripper Music Video

A woman lost her airline stewardess job recently because she did a TikTok video twerking in uniform on the plane before her shift because she was happy she had made it through her probation period, however the airline said she violated their social media policy.  Now it seems that a New York City Special Victims Unit detective might meet a similar fate for her Video Vixen side gig.

NYPD SVU Detective Melissa Mercado, a veteran with seven years of experience in the NYPD, was featured in a music video published by World Hip Hop where allegedly she is dressed like a stripper appearing in rapper S-Quire’s “Doin That” music video, Mercado can allegedly be seen “gyrating and shaking” her body while wearing a thong and a skimpy bra.

Fortunately for rapper S-Quire his music video “Doin That” has went viral, but unfortunately Detective Melissa Mercado, social media has been doing a large debate that involves some dragging, about whether or not Detective Melissa Mercado participation and portrayal in this video is appropriate for a person in her position.  According to the New York Post, Mercado makes around  $144,000 a year working her Bronx SVU gig.

It remains unclear if Detective Mercado will be penalized for her viral video vixen performance, and it appears she’s in the clear as far as wrongdoing, in spite of the eye-popping spotlight she’s brought to force plus this is not the first time an NYPD cop has been caught moonlighting in a compromising position.  … a.
