Prosecutors Are Alleging Lil Durk Hid An Apple Watch In His “Body Cavity” In The Midst Of Bonding Hearing [VIDEO]

In the midst of Hip Hop standing in the gap for rapper Lil Durk by writing letters to a federal judge urging Lil Durk’ release, the Chicago rapper has been placed in solitary confinement for talking back to prison officials.  It’s now being alleged by prosecutors that Lil Durk hid an Apple Watch in his ‘body cavity’ then tried to destroy it.

Rapper Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks had his bond hearing on Wednesday, and he won’t know the answer until Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald reviews all the facts.  Prosecutors claimed Lil Durk hid the device in a body cavity and tried to break or destroy it before officers could seize it.  The alleged incident was raised by prosecutors along with previous accusations involving unauthorized three-way calls and witness concerns as part of ongoing legal proceedings.

Rapper Lil Durk remains in jail because he is awaiting his second federal trial on racketeering and firearms charges under the Violent Crimes in Aid of Racketeering Activity (VICAR) statute.

Chicago native rapper Lil Durk was arrested in a murder-for-hire plot. Several members of the Chicago-based OTF crew, which Lil Durk allegedly has ties , were charged with the slaying of rapper Quando Rondo’s cousin. Lil Durk has been in federal custody since his arrest in October 2024 and has pleaded not guilty to all charges. In June 2026, prosecutors added new racketeering and “murder in aid of racketeering” charges related to alleged gang activity and other incidents in Chicago and Atlanta.
