Concerts are way too expensive and hard to get into these days, so one can only imagine how a fan feels after getting to a venue getting seated on to find out the entertainer they came to see left.
43 year old rapper Lil Wayne left fans outraged after he failed to take the stage at the opening night of his 20 Years of Carter Classics Tour Tuesday in Maine. Lil Wayne was scheduled to headline the first stop of the tour at Bangor’s Maine Savings Amphitheater, but although opener 2 Chainz performed and a DJ kept the crowd entertained, but when it came time for Lil Wayne to start his set at 10:45 p.m., he was a no show, and at 11 p.m. the crowd was informed the show was over.
Lil Wayne has now apologized for leaving his fans hanging and issued an apology in a statement shared to his Instagram Stories,
“I’m so sorry,” addressing concertgoers who were left stunned when he never took the stage on the opening night of his Carter Classics tour, despite #2Chainz having already opened the show. “I ain’t sh*t without you,”
Lil Wayne also informed fans that the performance has now been rescheduled for July 28th.
