Back in May of 2025 we reported that Houston entrepreneur Lynn Price, co-founder of the world famous ‘Turkey Leg Hut’ restaurant, was facing serious legal trouble after being arrested and charged with federal arson. According to authorities, Price allegedly payed some men $1,400 each to go to his former partner’s restaurant, Bar 5015, and burn it down back in 2020. Then allegedly orchestrating a devastating explosion at a Houston-area bar earlier this year, reportedly targeting a business that posed competition to a separate venture he was involved in.
Reportedly Lyndell “Lynn” Price, 44, has pleaded guilty today (June 11) to a federal conspiracy to commit arson charge. Federal prosecutors built their case using cooperating witnesses, phone records, location data and surveillance footage. Two co-defendants have since pleaded guilty, admitting they accepted money from Price in exchange for setting the blaze. Price was additionally accused of ordering the torching of a stolen classic car tied to an alleged chop shop operation, as well as gun offenses connected to alleged drug trafficking. Lyndell Price has been in federal custody since his arrest, initially pleading not guilty while his attorney pushed for a trial date. With his guilty plea now entered, he is scheduled to be sentenced in September and faces between 5 and 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
