Houston Man Charged With A Felony For Selling Fake Disabled Parking Placards On Social Media for $150 [VIDEO]

Times are tough, times are hard, a Houston man has been charged with a felony for allegedly selling fake handicap placards online.

David T. Brown is facing a felony charge of tampering with a government record after investigators alleged he sold modified disabled parking permits for $150 each, profiting from selling the altered disabled parking placards through social media.  According to officials with Harris County Constable Precinct 1, the 28 year old David T. Brown altered permanent-disability placards by adding driver license numbers and other identifying information to make them appear legitimate.  Officials are still working to determine how Brown obtained the placards.  Authorities are warning that if your caught using these illegally fabricated disability placards you too could face legal consequences, including misdemeanor charges that may carry fines, jail time, or community service requirements.
