The most beautiful relaxing thing God created on earth was water, however it’s beauty is what causes some to under estimate how dangerous water can be. A search is underway along the Jersey Shore for a teenager with special needs who while on a school trip vanished while swimming.
Officials say Davoris Carter, 14, was on a school trip Monday in Wildwood, New Jersey, accompanied by both a chaperone and a family member. According to authorities, the teen’s family member stepped away to get food while the group was at the beach. Carter later entered the water along with several other students while staff monitored the group from a distance. At about 1:26 p.m., an officer in Wildwood was alerted to a swimmer in distress, prompting a response from police, lifeguards, and fire department personnel. First responders arrived to find multiple people in the surf. Three swimmers were brought out of the water, and one was transported to a hospital and listed in stable condition.
As of this time Davoris Carter still has not been found as authorities continue to search for him.
Let’s keep the family of Davoris Carter uplifted in prayer.
