Verdict Reached in Jussie Smollett Case ‘Guilty’ [VIDEO]

Breaking news tonight is Empire actor Jussie Smollett has been found guilty of staging a hate crime nearly three years after he claimed two Trump-loving bigots beat him up, tied a noose around his neck and doused him in bleach in a misbegotten bid to raise his public profile back in January of 2019 in Chicago.

Jussie Smollett was found guilty on 5 counts, 1) making a false police report he was the victim of a hate crime to Officer Muhammad Baig, 2) making a false police report he was the victim of a battery to Baig, 3) making a false police report he was the victim of a hate crime to Det. Kimberly Murray.  4) making a false police report he was the victim of a battery to Det. Kimberly Murray. 5) making a false police report he was the victim of a battery to Det. Kimberly Murray.  Jussie Smollett was acquitted on one count of felony disorderly conduct, related to making a false police report he was the victim of an aggravated battery to Det. Robert Graves.

Judge Linn said he will order a pre-sentencing investigation and attorneys will meet via conference call to determine a date for pre-sentencing motions
