President Donald Trump signed Saturday signed of on imposing 25 percent tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China, stating that the decision was made to “protect” Americans “because of the major threat of illegal aliens and deadly drugs killing our Citizens, including fentanyl.”
Rolling back time during the presidential debate Donald Trump said:
“I had no inflation, virtually no inflation. [Biden-Harris] had the highest inflation perhaps in the history of our country because I’ve never seen a worse period of time,” Trump said. “People can’t go out and buy cereal or bacon or eggs or anything else. The people of our country are absolutely dying with what [Biden and Harris have] done. They’ve destroyed the economy.”
Back to the present President Donald Trump in response to imposing tariffs on social media had this to say:
“WILL THERE BE SOME PAIN? YES, MAYBE (AND MAYBE NOT!),” “BUT WE WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, AND IT WILL ALL BE WORTH THE PRICE THAT MUST BE PAID.”
Canada Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, in response to Donald Trumps new tariffs unveiled a 25% tariff on $155 billion dollars worth of American goods, targeting a wide range of products, including beer, wine, household appliances, and sporting goods.
