Trump Grants 15 Pardons, Commutes 5 Sentences

Every President before leaving office gives a get out of free card to someone in prison most of the time the clemency comes to those who have been sitting in jail longer than they should have.  Yesterday following suit with tradition Donald Trump granted full pardons to 15 individuals and commuted part or all of the sentences of an additional 5.  The thing that has people raising their eyebrows are the names of those that Trump is hooking up.

Three former Republican members of Congress, including Rep. Duncan Hunter, who pleaded guilty to misusing campaign funds; Trump also singled out George Papadopoulos, a former campaign adviser who was charged in connection with special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.  [READ  MORE]
