Teddy Riley Vs. Babyface Went Down, Literally… In Flames On IG Live [VIDEO]

The highly anticipated IG Live battle, Teddy Riley Vs. Babyface went down last night, LITERALLY, IN FLAMES. #NotGoodTeddy.

The entertainment world has been doing a phenomenal job giving fans things to look forward to while we shelter in because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and because of the coronavirus the one showdown we have been waiting for after much publicity was Teddy Riley Vs. Babyface.  The original date was pushed back when it was finally revealed that Babyface himself was battling the virus.  Through the grace of God the Grammy Award singer/writer/producer came though the COVID-19 storm and was available/ready for Teddy Riley challenge last night.  Unfortunately Teddy Riley was NOT.

The Teddy Riley Vs. Babyface battle that had over 401K viewers was supposed to start at 9 EST ,  Babyface was ready with his keyboard, a mic, in a small studio by himself armed with his cellphone.  Teddy Riley was 45 minutes late as he irritated fans with a full production crew, sound check (that they never did get right).  Then when Riley was supposedly ready, the battle started with no sound, then terrible sound, a yo Face can we start over?, all of this while viewers (some were celebrities) decided to express their dissatisfaction on the live feed.  Babyface clearly was being patient as he finally started communicating with Teddy using sign language.

The funniest part was Teddy’s production crew was trying to tell Babyface what to do, when the error’s were clearly on their end.

Swizz Beatz and Timbaland that started the IG battles had their own after party after Teddy Riley Vs. Babyface, to explain how sometimes SH@T happens. (see video down below)

Unfortunately Teddy Riley being extra, doin too much, while doin the most, made the quarantine concert battle news worthy for all the wrong reasons.

OH BTW,  this is for the cool, Babyface is not guilty of No Crime, bad productions nor hits, so it goes without saying that as far as a musical battle goes, he WON !!
