Swagged Out Viral Internet Personality, John West, Adult Living With Autism, Has Passed Away [VIDEO]

With so much negativity on the internet, John West an adult male living with autism brought smiles to peoples faces while warming their hearts going viral for his positivity and loving ways.  Just as people were falling in love with, a rarity in this day and age, John West’s viral positive content, it has been reported that John West suddenly passed away due to natural causes.

John West’s passing was announced by Des, his caregiver/sister/Internet producer, to their followers via social media in a tribute post thanking supporters for their condolences and remembered West as “Mr. West,” prompting an outpouring of messages from fans who said they had come to know and love him through her videos.

According to Des many people assumed John West was simply “a healthy man with autism,” but explained that he had dealt with several serious medical issues over the years. Those challenges included severe dental infections that had gone untreated for decades, as well as blood in his urine and ongoing kidney problems. Des said that although his health had improved significantly during the last two years of his life, he had a long history of medical concerns.  Des also explained that she intentionally chose to highlight the positive parts of West’s life and journey online rather than publicly discuss every hardship he faced. “There was much more to his story than what people saw online,” she wrote.

Unfortunately some people took the announcing of John West passing as an opportunity to cash in on GoFundMe and other platforms alike, and Des wanted fans to know they should NOT donate to these platforms for John West.

John West was known for his infectious smile, ‘swagged out’ looks and full personality, the story of John West was brought to social media by his sister documenting his life as an adult with autism. John West and Des journey together began being documented in 2024 when his caretaker, Des, a woman who identifies herself as his sister, gained custody of John, citing abuse and lack of care from his prior caretakers.
