Death Row Records founder, Suge Knight while sitting behind bars, has made the best of his time by doing interviews and offering in sites into what is going on in the Hip Hop world today. While the biggest mystery in Hip Hop still remains as to who killed Biggie and Tupac with rumors claiming Pac isn’t dead but somewhere living under an alias, Suge Knight is offering up answers. Not who killed Tupac but affirming he is gone from this earth and resides in a some of his homies. D.R.S Gangsta Lean says ‘I tip my 40 to your memory’, while, according to Suge Knight, Tupac’s homie rolled up his ashes and puff, puff passed the legendary rapper.
In a phone interview from prison to ‘PEOPLE’, Suge Knight claimed that after Pac was cremated following his tragic death in 1996, a small private memorial was held by his mother, Afeni Shakur.
“His homies rolled him up. They smoked him,” … “You gotta understand, that’s what made sense. It was symbolic. It’s like… you keep part of him.”
Suge said he didn’t hit the blunt himself because he was on probation, he confirmed the ashes were passed around during the gathering.
