Shilo Sanders Tells Female Sports Reporter MKC ‘Go Make a Sandwich’…Misogynistic Or Nah ?

We live in the post pandemic world of acronyms and slang sayings mixed with old school using other words to cuss people out without using a cuss word.

Recently hallowed female sports reporter Mary Kay Cabot made a social media comment saying that the Cleveland Browns would services themselves best if they went ahead with the former All-Pro Quarterback ‘Deshaun Watson’ as the guy under center opposed to Shedeur Sanders, who started seven games as a rookie in 2025.  Big brother Shilo Sanders, who feels MKC has something against Shedeur, seen the comment and responded to the comment with “go make a sandwich” hence now being dragged for being allegedly misogynistic, with some feeling he should apologize.

Mary Kay Cabot who is the 2025 Bill Nunn Memorial Award winner, responded to Shilo’s comment on a Cleveland local radio show Thursday morning saying that she elected to take the high road.  Saying that her presence in the football world has inspired other women and young girls to follow in her footsteps  and she’s proof they can thrive in a male-dominated profession.

Here’s the thing, was his comment read wrong?  For Shilo’s comment to be misogynistic, one would have to interpret the “go make a sandwich’ as that because she is a woman she doesn’t know anything about sports but does or should know how to make a sandwich or that she should stick to making sandwiches because she is a woman and that’s what women do.

What if you read Shilo Sanders comment without your misogynistic lenses on?  “Go make a sandwich” might be read as simply “go to hell”, kind of like when your grandmama made a mistake and used to yell “kiss Miss Mitchel !!”  (refer to first sentence)

Now that we have a clear understanding of the first sentences, was Shilo Sanders being misogynistic or just taking up for his brother?

See below, then tell us what you think?
