Russell Simmons Rape Case Is Dismissed

The God Father of Hip Hop, Russell Simmons, has been maintaining his innocence of rape since 2018 now it’s being reported that the case has been dismissed.

What does this mean about his innocence?

According to L.A. Superior Court Judge Mark Epstein a decision to dismiss the case has been reached, citing that the Jane Doe who originally filed the suit, was reportedly about four years too late for the alleged incident.  Judge Epstein had issued an order last month to the Jane Doe, giving her two weeks to file an opposition to Russell Simmons’ motion that the case be dismissed for falling outside the statute of limitations.  Jane Doe didn’t respond so Judge Epstein dismissed the case.

Does this mean it didn’t happen?  Is this good enough for the court of public opinion?  Better yet, is this good enough for uncle Russ?
