R. Kelly Is Keeping Busy Behind Bars, Saying He Has Written 25 Albums In Prison [VIDEO]

Robert Kelly may be imprisoned because he convicted of some heinous acts against the sex that propelled him to greatest heights in his musical career.  However it doesn’t negate the fact that R. Kelly was the piped piper of R&B that had 26 Grammy nominations and 3 Grammy Awards sitting on his mantel.  Allegedly privately creepy, but a musical genius none the less.  R. Kelly may have been muted and dethroned of his freedom, but according to Kell’s in a recent podcast his mind is free as he has written 25 albums while in prison.

58 year old Robert ‘R. Kelly’ Kelly has been keeping busy behind bars, while appearing on a recent Inmate Tea with A&P podcast episode, where we guess Kell’s was told to call in to “sing happy birthday to somebody” but instead sang ‘When A Woman’s Fed Up’, revealed that he has written 25 albums in the midst of his 30-year federal prison sentence for sex trafficking and racketeering.

“Well, singing is a beautiful disease that’s incurable. That’s not gonna happen, stopping singing. I don’t care where I’m at. I’m always singing, I’m always writing. I’ve written, like, 25 albums since I been in here, and right now I’m just working on getting out…I’m using patience as a tactic right now.”

What’s more shocking that he has written that many albums in this short of time or that he was able to participate in a podcast?
