Prayers: ‘Player’s Club’ Star Actor Samuel Monroe Jr. Has Passed at 52

Prayer warriors were summoned for 52 year old Los Angeles native, actor Samuel Monroe Jr., best known for his roles in the iconic movie ‘Player’s Club’ as Junior, as well as ‘Set It Off’, ‘Menace II Society’, and ‘Tales From The Hood’, back in April as he reportedly was in an ICU on life life support. Unfortunately now prayers are in order as it has been reported that Samuel Monroe Jr. has sadly passed away.

His mother, Joyce Patton, announced his passing on August 27 after Monroe spent months hospitalized with serious health complications stemming from meningitis. His condition reportedly developed into MRSA pneumonia and he was placed on life support.  His mother thanked everyone who had been praying for him and asked for continued prayers for his family, especially his three children.
