Prayers, Kobe Bryant’s Father, Joe ‘Jellybean’ Bryant, Hs Passed At 69

Prayers are in order as sad news is being reported that the late NBA great, Kobe Bryant’s father, Joe ‘Jellybean’ Bryant, has passed away at the age of 69.

According to reports Joe ‘Jellybean’ Bryant has been battling a health issue and had a massive stroke.

Joe ‘Jellybean’ Bryant, in his early years was a great basketball player in his own right.  Joe Bryant was a first-round pick to the Golden State Warriors in 1975 and played for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Diego Clippers and Houston Rockets before heading overseas to play from 1983 to 1991.  Joe Bryant was also a coach in the WNBA for the Los Angeles Sparks from 2005-07 and 2011.

Joe Bryant is proceeded in death by son Kobe Bryant, survived by his wife Pam Bryant, children Sharia Bryant and Shaya Bryant.
