Prayers Are In Order Boxer Pernell Whitaker Dead Age 55

Prayers are in order as it is being reported that legendary boxer Pernell Whitaker has passed away at the young age of 55.

According to reports the legendary boxer, Pernell ‘Sweet Pea’ Whitaker, was killed when he was hit by a car in Virginia Beach.  Although medical attention was given to Whitaker at the scene he had succumbed to his injuries   

The driver involved in the crash was NOT arrested and police don’t think drugs, alcohol, or speed contributed to the accident. 

Pernell Whitaker began is pro career in 1984 and it spanned all the way through 2001, with an amazing 40-4-1 record including 17 knockouts.

We will be keeping the family of  Pernell ‘Sweet Pea’ Whitaker uplifted in our prayers.
