7 people on board of the ambulance jet were all Mexican who traveled to the U.S. to treat a minor patient. The passengers included the patient, her mother, a pilot, a co-pilot, a paramedic and a doctor. The patient was being treated at the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Philly. The ambulance jet had just taken off for the Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri, where they planned to fuel up before flying to their final destination of Tijuana, Mexico, when it experienced issues, causing it to plunge thousands of feet into a Philly neighborhood. What some didn’t realize was that people on the ground were injured in this plane crash as well and for one family praise God that their 10 year old survived when debris from the air plane lodged in his head while sitting in a car.
The ambulance jet that crashed into a Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood killing everyone onboard and a civilian on the ground, also left 19 other people injured on the ground as a result of the plane crash, including 10-year-old Andre Howard Jr. His father, Andre Howard Sr., says he, his son, and his daughter, were in the car when the plane crashed nearby. Debris began to fly all across the streets, leading to a flying piece of metal breaking the car windows and striking the young boy in the head.
Andre Howard Jr. underwent emergency surgery, and miraculously survived, however there’s a chance that he will never walk again.
Let’s keep Andre Howard Jr. and his family uplifted in our prayers.
