Pastor Jamal Bryant Charging The People To Get Testing For COVID-19!?

Black Twitter is getting heated with the word on the street that Pastor Jamal Bryant of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta for partnering up with a Florida lab to test his flock over $100 for COVID-19 that allegedly will give results within 24 hours. 

According to Jamal Bryant when speaking of the coronavirus pandemic, in the words of Malcom X, where white people catch a cold, black people catch pneumonia.  He said that someone donated him 1000 tests however he had no way of processing them and with large population of Dekalb county the flooding to the church was going to cause ‘Freaknik’ 92 and there would be no way to get on the parking lot.  There would be a cost of $150 for screening and testing a lot less than it would be somewhere else but the catch is that if you have insurance you would be reimbursed.  If you didn’t have insurance New Birth would find you a sponsor.  New Birth could not cover all those costs themselves.  

Jamal Bryant said that the Church is not capitalizing on the pandemic.

The statewide shelter-in-place order put a stop to the plan, however New Birth plans on moving forward with the plan once the order is lifted.
