Officers Banned from Guarding Derek Chauvin Are Now Suing [VIDEO]

Derek Chauvin is the ex-Minneapolis police officer who kneeled on the neck of George Floyd killing him to make a long story short over $20 and opened the worlds eye’s to the systemic racism that does exist unfortunately amongst the people that are paid by the people to protect and serve us.  Now it appears that the same protection that we should expect that was not shown George Floyd is being extended to the man that will forever be attached to 8 minutes and 46 seconds, Derek Chauvin.

It is being reported that 8 officers of color were not permitted to do their job when their supervisor removed them from guarding Derek Chauvin.  Now those 8 officers are throwing a flag on the play and filed discrimination lawsuit. 

According to 1 of the officers in the complaint:

“I understood that the decision to segregate us had been made because we could not be trusted to carry out our work responsibilities professionally around the high-profile inmate — solely because of the color of our skin,”  “I am not aware of a similar situation where white officers were segregated from an inmate.”
