Not So Fast JK: Jimmy Kimmel Will Be Back Tuesday, But You May Not Be Able To Watch It

You really didn’t think they were going to let Jimmy Kimmel win that easy did you??

People were shocked and outraged last week when ABC announced that it was pulling Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show “indefinitely” after conservatives accused the longtime host of inaccurately describing the politics of the man who is accused of fatally shooting the right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.  Many celebrities including former President Barack Obama took to social media to voice their disapproval along with regular Joe’s cancelations of their Disney, ESPN and Hulu subscriptions in boycott.  It hasn’t even been a week and Disney is announcing the the Jimmy Kimmel Show will return on Tuesday.  However there is a catch !!

In response, Sinclair, the broadcasting company that makes up the nation’s largest ABC affiliate group, shared a statement on social media.

“Beginning Tuesday night, Sinclair will be preempting Jimmy Kimmel Live! across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming,”  “Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show’s potential return.”

Which means, Jimmy Kimmel does get to come back to work, however you will be watching the news instead because the stations will not be airing it for all to watch on their televisions at home.

We will be watching to see what we get “Jimmy Kimmel Live! or just regular ole news.
