New COVID Side Effect… ‘Shrinkage’ !?

COVID-19 has been wreaking havoc on the world for almost 2 years now with symptoms of fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting diarrhea worst case scenarios, trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, that health officials say you need to head to the hospital if you have.

Some people who had severe illness with COVID-19 experience multiorgan effects or autoimmune conditions over a longer time with symptoms lasting weeks or months after COVID-19 illness. Multiorgan effects can affect most, if not all, body systems, including heart, lung, kidney, skin, and brain functions.  However one man has discovered a new side effect of COVID…shrinkage!!

A man, who is in his 30s and considers himself to be heterosexual, sought out advice from  Slate’s How to Do It Podcast, claiming he was hospitalized after testing positive for COVID last July. Following his release from the hospital, he started to experience erectile dysfunction, but the issue was corrected with medication. The man also noticed that he went from having what he thought to be an above average penis to something “decidedly less than average,”   Allegedly shrinking his penis by 1.5 inches

Sounds crazy, right?  Well according to Charles Welliver, director of Men’s Health at Albany Medical College, he suggests that there’s a link between erectile dysfunction and shrinkage, based on studies prior to COVID.

Fellas all the more reason to get vaccinated!!
