NC Substitute Teacher Charged For Fight Speaks [VIDEO]

Substitute teacher, Xaviera Steele and a student who were involved in a fight Monday at Rocky Mount High School are both charged with simple assault following a fight between the two at Rocky Mountain High School.  The fight that was caught on video shows Steele pummeling the student.  Following a first-period class, the substitute teacher, confiscated the unidentified student’s cell phone and when said student came for her property, all hell broke loose.

The school system said in a statement.

“Mrs. Steele is an employee of Kelly Services, which is a contracted vendor that provides substitutes for Nash County Public Schools,” … “Her eligibility to continue employment will be determined by the outcome of the pending investigation.”
