LSU Star Flau’Jae Johnson’s Momanger Has Gone Viral Following Loss To South Carolina Saying Flau’Jae Doesn’t Need The WNBA [VIDEO]

Often times in athletic game rivalries emotions can run high, especially if your on the losing end of the rivalry stick, which causes a reaction that might make people go “WAIT, What happened!?”  

LSU women’s basketball star Flau’Jae Johnson’s Momanger has gone viral following LSU’s loss to South Carolina saying that her daughter doesn’t need the WNBA, the WNBA needs her.

The matchup between LSU and South Carolina was a historic broadcast, with ESPN reporting an average of 1.7 million viewers, making it the fourth most-watched regular-season women’s college basketball game in the network’s history. Flau’Jae Johnson finished the game with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and one block, shooting 9-of-18 from the field and 2-of-6 from the free-throw line. For South Carolina, Tessa Johnson also recorded 21 points, shooting 8-of-13 from the field and 4-of-5 from three-point range.  When the clock ran out LSU took an L to South Carolina  79-72.

Even though LSU lost, Flau’Jae’s mother, Kia Brooks, had a different spin on the out come of the game, saying the loss to South Carolina didn’t matter because her daughter is  “set for life”, in a LIVE video that has since went viral. “We have never beat South Carolina,” … “Cool, but Flau’jae is beating South Carolina in real life… The goal is to go to the WNBA and get a bag…”

“These girls trying to go to the WNBA to get paid, she already paid,” … “Flau’Jae don’t need the WNBA to be real, they need her.”… “No South Carolina player is going before Flau’Jae in the draft and that’s no disrespect.”…”Yes, we have not beaten South Carolina yet. They play together,”… “But what I have set up for my daughter is to win in real life.” … “go check the stats… numbers don’t lie.”…. “So South Carolina didn’t beat Flau’Jae, South Carolina beat LSU. Let’s keep it real.”

Flau’Jae Johnson is already a women’ basketball National Champion as a star guard for the LSU Tigers who won the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship as a freshman and has been blessed with many talents, she is a rapper as well as a basketball star with WNBA potential.   Flau’jae Johnson is one of the highest-earning college athletes in the NIL space for 2025-26, with an estimated valuation of $1.5 million. She has over 40 partnerships, including Puma, Meta, JBL, Taco, and Amazon, and became the second college athlete to secure an equity stake in the Unrivaled 3-on-3 basketball league.
