Just A Kid From Akron, Los Angeles Lakers basketball star LeBron James, is writing a children’s book titled ‘I Promise’ named after and inspired by his pride and joy the ‘I Promise School’ in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
“Books have the ability to teach, inspire and bring people together,” “That’s why these books and the opportunity to get children and parents reading together mean so much to me.”
‘I Promise’ illustrated by the New York Times best selling artist Nina Mata will be released August 11, 2020 followed up by a middle school novel to be released that following summer.
