LaToya Jackson Confirms Janet Jackson “Kindly Declined” Being Portrayed In ‘Michael’

The hottest topic in silver scene talk internet talk is Michael a biopic film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, with everything going viral from the exclusive popcorn buckets to the grand movie premiere.  Michael has been, so to speak, a family affair with Jermaine Jackson son Jaafar Jeremiah Jackson starring as is famous late uncle Michael Jackson.  But not everybody from 2300 Jackson St. was depicted in the movie and the one most notable was super star in her own right baby sister Janet Jackson, leaving fans wondering, what was up with that?

Recently during the film Michael, Los Angeles premiere, LaToya Jackson explained that Janet was actually invited to be involved in the project but decided not to take part.

“I wish everybody was in the movie,” … “[Janet] was asked and she kindly declined — so you have to respect her wishes.”

The biopic, which follows the early career of the late King of Pop, still features several members of the Jackson family. Janet has yet to publicly address her decision not to be involved in the project, and she was also noticeably absent from the premiere, and it isn’t any secret that not every Jackson is happy about the biopic, most notably Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson.
