Illinois Man Distraught When Police Mistaken His Daughters For Drugs !? [VIDEO]

A parents worst nightmare is to have to bury their child, however for someone to have bury their child and to have the child’s remains tampered with is just unconscionable.

Dartavius Barnes is suing Springfield, Illinois police after a horrifying traffic stop.  Dartavius Barnes wasn’t physically harmed by police but he was clearly traumatized by their insensitive behavior, when the police found an urn in the car, that contained the Dartavius Barnes, 2 year old daughters ashes, who police thought they made a come up by thinking the cremains were meth.

After police listened to Dartavius Barnes tearfully pleading with them that it was an urn with his daughters ashes police decided they were going to drug test ashes not once but twice during the traffic stop while laughing at the man.  Eventually police handed the cremains of to Dartavius Barnes father who was at the scene.

Dartavius Barnes, 2 year old daughter Ta’Naja Barnes, had died of neglect and starvation a year earlier inside her mom’s home.

The whole incident which occurred over a year was caught on bodycam is just now being released.
