‘Hair Love’ Has Went Live: Story About Dad’s, Daughter’s and Hair [VIDEO]

Where are all my real fathers at?  If you have a daughter at some point in time you have had to deal with the whole hair love situation.  

Well former NFL player and Chicago native, Matthew A Cherry, put his media media degree from the University of Akron to use when he walked away from the NFL to pursue his film career which his launching from his children short story book that is now being brought to life by Sony Pictures Animation.  

‘Hair Love’ is an animated short film about an African American father learning how to do his daughters hair for the first time.  ‘Hair Love is written and directed by Matthew A Cherry, co-directed by Bruce W. Smith, Everett Downing Jr. and stars Issa Rae.

The six-minute short,  takes you into the home of little Zuri, who wants her hair to look like her mom’s, when the experiment goes wrong in walks dad to help his little girl get right.
