Adolf Hitler was an Austrian-born German politician who was the dictator of Nazi Germany from 1933 until his suicide in 1945, who use of antisemitic ideas gave birth to, as history has taught us, the Holocaust, the systematic, state-sponsored, persecution and murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its collaborators between 1933 and 1945. In 2025 rapper Kanye West has made Hitler a topic again, however we have all learned to kind of ignore Ye. But when Donald Trump’s right hand man, Elon Musk, keeps hyping Hitler that is a little alarming. SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk comes under fire for making gesture at President Trump rally similar to Nazi salute. In response, to the salute backlash Elon Musk said, “Frankly, they need better dirty tricks. The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is sooo tired.” Now DOGE head Elon Musk is coming under fire for retweeting “Hitler didn’t murder millions”.
53 year old, South African native, Elon Musk, who has been brought on by President Trump to make America Great Again starting with cutting thousands of federal workers as the head of Department of Government Efficiency, on Thursday reposted a message on X saying “Hitler didn’t murder millions of people. Public sector employees did.”
“Stalin, Mao, and Hitler didn’t murder millions of people. Their public sector employees did.”
Elon Musk’s repost compared federal workers to three of the modern era’s greatest killers.
Nazi leader Adolph Hilter led the murders of six million European Jews in the Holocaust and caused the deaths of millions more civilians in World War II. Dictator Josef Stalin killed between six and nine million Soviet citizens through executions, starvation and imprisonment. And Chinese Communist Party leader Mao Zedong’s policies are estimated to have killed between 30 million and 45 million people through starvation and disease.
Elon Musk, sunk over $200 million into President Donald Trump’s campaign and has since become one of the president’s most senior adviser.
