Americans no matter what their political support is are extremely frustrated with the price of gas at the pumps that have been growing since the start of the conflict in Iran and are historically much higher than ever before. However are your eyes deceiving you? Are they really higher than ever before? According to President Donald Trump gas prices were much higher under President Joe Biden than under Trump.
Pump prices have soared since the launch of the Iran war on February 28, with average costs reaching $4.48 per gallon on Monday according to AAA figures. In addition to further pressure on already struggling consumers, this has created a significant political challenge for Trump’s party, which is facing an uphill battle when it comes to retaining control of the House and Senate.
