Deiondra Sanders Opens Up About How Love Made Her Ignore Red Flags In Her Relationship With Jacquees [VIDEO]

We talk about this all the time in Reality Hour on The Sam Sylk Show how people allow love to block their view of the red flags that are waving in front of them. Deiondra Sanders, the daughter of Deion Sanders recently on Lecrae’s podcast opened up about her relationship with Jacquees, the father of her son Snow, saying how her brothers, Shilo, Shedeur and Bucky wasn’t feelin her relationship with the R&B singer Jacquees, particularly when she decided to start a family with him and how love kept her from seeing the red flags.

“It was a controversial moment for my family because they really didn’t like him [Jacquees] for the way that he treated me,” …”So, they were really mad. Of course, my dad wasn’t; I mean, everybody felt some kind of way, but my dad knew the issues I had with fibroids and stuff like that. So he knew I always wanted a family. So he was like, okay, I understand that he actually wasn’t as mad as I thought he would be….”I was scared to answer the phone when he kept calling me when it got online. But my other brothers, they were just like, ‘You gonna let this n— in our family?’ So, they only [did it] because they’re very protective of me. Like, I’m their sister. I’m the cool one, and I’m the one who always likes doing stuff, and then for me to just be going through so much of what I did, they just really didn’t like to see me like that. That’s all.”

Because of Deiondra Sanders’ fibroid struggles since she was in her 20’s got pregnant with Snow, her pregnancy was described as a ‘miracle’ since her son found a safe spot in the uterus away from tumors.  The on her father Deion Sanders birthday she gave birth to her son Snow on August 9, 2024.  Shortly after that Deiondra and Jacquees separated.  Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees ended their relationship primarily due to infidelity, intense public feuding, and family drama involving Jacquees’ mother and his collaborations with other artists.

Looking back, Deiondra admitted that love caused her to overlook red flags and said she had to forgive herself for choices she now views differently.
