Comedian/Actor Faizon Love Arrested In Florida

Comedian/actor Faizon Love best known for his role as ‘Big Worm’ in the original cult classic movie ‘Friday’, has reportedly been arrested in Florida.

According to TMZ, booking records show the veteran actor was arrested Tuesday in Hillsborough County, Florida, and booked into a Tampa jail for alleged contempt of court which appears to be connected to a paternity case in which he’s involved.

This is not Faizon Love’s first rodeo with the law, back in 2017 in Columbus, OH, he was arrested and pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor assault charge after he was caught on surveillance camera attacking a valet attendant at the John Glenn Columbus International Airport. Faizon Love was issued a fine and a suspended jail sentence, and was later ordered to pay a $40,000 settlement in a civil suit. Then in 2025 Faizon Love faced felony assault charges in San Diego for allegedly throwing a credit card reader at a hotel clerk, which left her with a concussion and broken glasses. He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
