College Tuition Is Now Free For Foster Children In Cali [VIDEO]

I guess we have to start somewhere.  President Joe Biden said he would provided college debt relief however his counter parts keep blocking it.  Even though there are a lot of American’s praying for the day to have that bill erased, this next story should do your heart some good while we patiently wait.

It’s being reported that College will be totally free to those in foster care in California.

The new Fostering Futures program will pay for foster youth to attend a California State University, University of California, or a community college, according to state Sen. Angelique Ashby’s office. There are approximately 60,000 children in the state’s foster care system, and officials say 93% want to go to college. According to Ashby, the foster youth high school graduation rate is 64%, but only 4% achieve a four-year college degree. 

Now that’s a blessing.
