Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson Is Electing To Ice ‘Ice’ [VIDEO]

It’s been a week since we learned that Donald Trump will become the President of The United States once again.  Although the transition in leadership hasn’t happened yet.  Donald Trump has made it clear that he will be cleaning house of undocumented immigrants in the United States, threatening to target so-called “sanctuary cities.”

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is taking a stand. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said he would not direct the Chicago Police Department to collaborate with ICE to deport people.

Mayor Brandon Johnson maintains that city officials will continue to shield all immigrants in Chicago from federal agents, regardless of whether they are citizens, permanent residents or asylum seekers, despite the election of President-elect Donald Trump,.

“We will not bend or break,”   “Our values will remain strong and firm. We will face likely hurdles in our work over the next four years but we will not be stopped and we will not go back.” -Mayor Brandon Johnson
