Brooklyn Bridge Catches Fire During 4th Of July Fireworks Show [VIDEO]

What do you get when you mix London bridges falling down and the roof, the roof is on fire?  The Brooklyn Bridge catching fire during a 4th of July fireworks show.

A fire broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge during the Macy’s firework show spreading flames and setting off a plume of smoke before firefighters extinguished the blaze just before 10pm.  A department spokesperson said such fires are not unexpected and are why officials keep crowds at a distance during fireworks.  The fireworks show was moved up early because of the threat of severe weather that canceled and delayed other celebrations along the East Coast.  

Praise God no-one was hurt.
