A Sista Is Arrested After Trying To Burn Down Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birth Home in ATL

Can you imagine going on vacation and doing some sightseeing when your sightseeing turns you into a witness?

Two tourist were from Utah were doing some sight seeing while vacationing in the ATL when they went to see the historic home that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born in. While checking out the house the tourist seen a woman dressed in all black with a gas can, who seemed irritated while trying to pour gasoline around Dr. King’s birth home.  

The Utah tourist sprung into action stopping the woman from completing her arsenic task until police arrived to arrest her.

According to a statement from the King Center:

“Tonight, an unfortunate incident occurred at the birth home of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as an individual attempted to set fire to this historic property,…Fortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful, thanks to the brave intervention of good Samaritans and the quick response of law enforcement.”

Oddly enough the person trying to burn MLK’s birth home down was a sista, SMH
