Memorial day weekend at a banquet hall, on 186th Street, in the Hialeah area west of Miami Gardens, that had been rented out for an album release party for a local rapper, three males got out of a white SUV and “began shooting indiscriminately into the crowd” outside the venue leaving at least two people dead and more than 20 others injured according to Miami-Dade police. The ages of the victims ranged from 17 to 32 years of age. Today authorities are being vigilant in the capture of the shooters by offering a $130,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are offering a $30,000 reward in the case, and businessman Marcus Lemonis is offering a separate $100,000 reward.
