Mark Curry is a former Bad Boy Records artist who signed with Sean “Diddy” Combs in 1997 and later wrote a tell-all memoir detailing the label’s toxic internal culture. Mark Curry was also a prominent interviewee and voice-over contributor to Sean Combs: The Reckoning, the four-part Netflix documentary executive produced by 50 Cent. With hind site being 20/20 Mark Curry is saying following the success of Sean Combs: The Reckoning, his deal with 50 Cent is worse than any deal he ever made with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Mark Curry says the deal he made to appear in 50 Cent’s “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” was worse than any deal he had with Diddy, claiming he was supposed to receive a production credit for helping secure talent for the documentary. He also says proceeds were supposed to help victims but he has yet to see that, and claims he only made $69 from the use of his song “Come With Me” because he didn’t have a sync license.
Mark Curry posted a video to Instagram laying out everything he says went wrong with the Netflix documentary, from a production credit he never received to a book that stopped selling once the doc came out. He posted it days after the documentary won an Emmy.
Mark Curry is featured on the smash hit 2001 track “Bad Boy for Life” featuring P. Diddy and Black Rob.
