Ghislaine Maxwell In A Deposition Pleads ‘I’M NOT SAYING S***’ About Trump Or Epstein

Jeffrey Epstein isn’t here to speak his truth and in a deposition his alleged right hand, Ghislaine Maxwell, a British former socialite and convicted sex offender currently serving a 20-year federal prison sentence following being being convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking of a minor and conspiracy for her role in procuring underage girls for him, in a recent deposition has pleaded ‘I’m not saying s***’ about Trump or Epstein, unless she is granted clemency by President Trump.

While speaking from prison Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein, invoked the Fifth Amendment during the closed-door virtual deposition before the House Oversight Committee on Monday, according to video released by Chairman James Comer.

“I would like to answer your question, but on the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer this question and any related questions. My habeas petition is pending in the Southern District of New York. I therefore invoke my right to silence under the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,”  -Ghislaine Maxwell

Chairman James Comer and Oversight Republicans on Monday evening posted video of Maxwell’s deposition with the chairman saying, “I’m releasing the full video and audio so the American people can see it for themselves.”

Maxwell’s lawyer, David Markus, said during the deposition,

“If this committee and the American public truly want to hear the unfiltered truth about what happened, there is a straightforward path. Ms. Maxwell is prepared to speak fully and honestly if granted clemency by President Trump.”

The February 2026 deposition of Ghislaine Maxwell is significant because she invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination while, through her lawyer, offering to clear Donald Trump and Bill Clinton of wrongdoing in exchange for clemency. Held by the House Oversight Committee, this high-stakes virtual appearance amidst the release of unredacted Epstein files aimed to uncover information about co-conspirators.
