Campbell’s Soup Exec In Hot Water Over Alleged Leaked Comments Saying Campbell’s Soups Is “For Poor People” [VIDEO]

The holidays also ring in cold and flu season and when a lot of people get sick they turn to Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup and ginger ale, unfortunately the original medicine ball is coming under fire when a Campbell’s Soup executive alleged audio comments were leaked of him saying that Campbell’s Soups are “for poor people” and the chicken was made from a “3-D printer.”

“We have s— for f—— poor people. Who buys our s—? I don’t buy Campbell’s products barely anymore. It’s not healthy now that I know what the f—‘s in it,” Bally allegedly said, per the local news outlet. “Bioengineered meat — I don’t wanna eat a piece of chicken that came from a 3-D printer.”

Allegedly caught on tape by a former security analyst Robert Garza, in a now lawsuit, Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer Martin Bally was supposed to be having a discussion about his salary. Garza claims the meeting turned into an hour-long tirade where Bally insulted Campbell’s products, mocked customers, and made offensive remarks about Indian employees.  In the recording, Bally allegedly called Campbell’s soups “for poor people” and joked that he didn’t want to eat the chicken because it came from a “3-D printer.” The lawsuit also claims he referred to Indian employees as “idiots” who “couldn’t think for themselves” and admitted to using marijuana edibles before work.  Garza says he reported the recording to his supervisor in January 2025, and twenty days later, he was fired.

Campbell’s responded in an emailed statement:

“If the recording is legitimate, the comments are unacceptable. They do not reflect our values and the culture of our company. Mr. Bally is temporarily on leave while we conduct an investigation.”  “We are proud of the food we make, the people who make it, and the high-quality ingredients we use. The comments on the recording are not only inaccurate, they are patently absurd.”
