Wendy Williams Speaks On Leaked Re-Diagnosis “My Attorney’s Are Highly Upset” [VIDEO]

Wendy Williams was diagnosed with aphasia and dementia back in May 2023, about one year after she was placed under a legal guardianship overseeing her health and finances. Wendy’s guardian claimed she “has been afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.”   The the former talk show host, 60 year old, signed an affidavit back in February asking a judge to end her guardianship.  According to the affidavit, Wendy says she has “regained capacity” to function without a guardian.  Since then Wendy Williams has done interviews with TMZ and The Breakfast Club, just to name a couple, trying to regain her freedom, plus she has been caught on video out with family seemingly doing just fine, in hopes that this would be her new normal.

According to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE, Wendy underwent an evaluation which reportedly included medical and neuropsychological tests and brain scans. Following the evaluations, doctors concluded that Wendy still has severe neurological issues.  Wendy Williams was re-diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and aphasia. The same diseases she was originally diagnosed with in 2023. Because of this diagnosis Wendy Williams allegedly it to say stay in guardianship.
