‘Where Is Wendy Williams?’ the 2 day docuseries that aired on Lifetime, provided some answers as to how Wendy Williams is doing following her not returning to the ‘Wendy Williams Show’, but it also has raised many more questions with all of them starting with WTH!? As well as people feeling that many are taking advantage of Wendy including the producers of ‘Where Is Wendy Williams?’ Not long after the airing Wendy Williams disappeared. Where was Wendy William? Allegedly in the temporary custody of a conservator. Wendy Williams was diagnosed with aphasia and dementia back in May 2023, about one year after she was placed under a legal guardianship overseeing her health and finances. Wendy’s guardian claimed she “has been afflicted by early-onset dementia and, as a result, has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.”
Fast-forwarding Wendy Williams has been seen out looking great even doing some interviews that raised the hair on the back of the neck of the Wendy Williams keepers, so much so they filed papers saying that she wasn’t allowed to talk while out.
Bringing us to present day, according to TMZ, the former talk show host, 60, signed an affidavit on Wednesday afternoon asking a judge to end her guardianship.
Just hours after TMZ’s documentary on Wendy Williams dropped on Tubi, where she talked about how she got into this guardianship mess, Wendy signed an affidavit asking the judge to set her free. According to the affidavit, Wendy says she has “regained capacity” to function without a guardian.
Wendy Williams say’s that this all started with her kid being an alleged kid set off red flags with Wells Fargo.
