R. Kelly said ‘I believe I can fly’ but life didn’t go to that tune but rather ‘I Wish’ when the pied piper of R&B, R. Kelly, was found guilty of multiple child pornography charges in a Chicago Federal Court. Since being locked up R. Kelly may have been muted and dethroned of his freedom, but according to Kell’s in a podcast his mind is free as he has written 25 albums while in prison. Perception would have you think that Robert Kelly has been making the best of a sad situation, however we all know that perception can be a lie, as it has been reported that R. Kelly has been rushed to a hospital after overdosing in jail.
R. Kelly was placed in solitary confinement on June 10 “against his will,” shortly after his team filed an emergency motion for his release from prison last week. In that motion, Kelly’s team claimed three Bureau of Prisons officials allegedly devised a plot to have him killed by another inmate. June 13, R. Kelly started feeling dizzy and was rushed to Duke University Hospital by ambulance where he was admitted for 2 days.
During his two-day stay at the hospital, R. Kelly says he learned he was given an amount of his prescribed medication that could have ended his life. A dosage that according to his lawyers was given to him by prison staff. Also allegedly an inmate claims that authorities offered him release from jail if he murdered R. Kelly.
Prosecutors filed a response to Robert Kelly’s request, alleging he continuously paints himself as the victim, adding. “This is the behavior of an abuser and a master manipulator on display.”
