English singer Mark Morrison, best known for his 1996 platinum hit song “Return of the Mack”, which was immediately met with success upon its release in several European countries. In the following year, the song peaked at No. 2 in the United States. Mark Morrison’s 1996 Spring Anthem, ‘Return of the Mack’ still stays in many of clubs and some radio stations rotation as well as in many commercials. His debut album, also titled Return of the Mack, followed and became a multi-platinum success. But Mark Morrison was constantly in trouble with the law, making him pretty much a one hit wonder although he has worked of others projects. What happened to Mark Morrison? Return of the Mack, 52 year old, Mark Morrison, was reportedly arrested in Florida following physical altercation with a bar manager Sunday night at Le Bar. A witness at the scene said Morrison was upset about allegedly not getting paid for an event. Mark Morrison who was arrested and charged with simple battery, attorney said in a statement that the altercation over the entertainment fee escalated into a “racially charged confrontation” and he is sure that he will be vindicated of any wrong doing.
