PETA is claiming to know about the last gobble, gobble, after butterballs was placed on turkeys.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals better known as PETA are commonly known for coming for people for wearing/purchasing fur coats. PETA is sharing a concern over our popular Thanksgiving Turkey dinner by revealing that popular brand Butterball Turkey may have a reason for the name ‘butterball’ turkey.
A PETA investigator is bringing attention to a disturbing form of animal abuse that he claims to have witnessed inside a Butterball turkey plant, alleging that he went undercover at a plant and witnessed employees sexually assaulting turkeys before they were slaughtered and has a video to allegedly back it up.
According to the PETA investigator:
“One guy humped a shackled turkey one day, and another time another worker was putting his fingers in a turkey’s cloaca, which is basically her vagina, while the line was stopped,”
The PETA investigator say’s he is making an attempt to bring awareness to our traditional Thanksgiving dinner choice.
